Laboratory Chemical Waste Guidelines
There are two versions of the Laboratory Chemical Waste Guidelines available for School of Medicine buildings. A copy of the appropriate Guidelines should be posted in every room storing or using chemicals.
For a PDF version of the Guidelines (2106), contact S&EM.
Chemicals wastes that are not clearly corrosive, flammable oxidizer or air/water reactive and are not listed on the Stanford Non-Hazardous Waste List should be considered toxic.
