To become a certified physician assistant, PAs must pass the Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam, or PANCE. The charts show the five-year summary results for Stanford compared to the national average.
Stanford’s PA Timeline
Up to 2018: Primary Care Associate Program (PCAP), resulting in an associate's degree from Foothill Community College and a Certificate of Clinical Competency from Stanford School of Medicine
2019: No graduating class. In 2017, Stanford School of Medicine welcomed the Master of Science in PA Studies (MSPA) inaugural class.
2020: The first MSPA cohort graduated.
